My friend recommended Vallejo Dental Associates, after 7 months of having unpleasant experiences with different dentists and dental offices, to be exact 4 offices in Vallejo and fairfield, though so optimist, decided to take my chances and finally made an appointment for a check up and possible future treatments.
I already knew about all the treatments I needed, but for some reasons I kept that info to myself…sounds sneaky!
Few minutes later I was taken inside the room and x-rays were taken, sitting there and waiting for my dentist, gave me oppurtunity to
observe a bit. There were two doctors working that day, I also noticed that there were a lot of patients’ charts which it kinda made me feel at ease to see them. I thought these people must be doing something right to have all those patients. I also noticed the offic was not one of these fancy or state of art offices but it was decent enough.. Anyway few minutes later the dentist walked in, the first thing I liked about her was her smile and warm demeanor. Her name was Dr. Nazila Edalati.
Dr. N (as they call her in the office) greeted me and right away she looked at me and with a nice accent (persian) said “let me guess you hate dentists and you don’t wanna be here, well! don’t worry I don’t like them(dentists) either.”
My first impression was that she was sweet, funny, very smart and
knowledgble, informative, able, hummble, friendly and honest to the point that she refused to do bleaching on me and when I insisted, she so patiently explained why she thought it was not a good idea.
Later on as she was treating me I realized that she was extremely gentle too and atually that is what she is famous for among
Dr.N also took her time to make sure that I understood the treatment that I needed and why I needed it. One thing that I had never experienced with any other dentist.
I have been a patient in Vallejo Dental for almost two years, I
have also referred few of my friends, we all feel very lucky to have Dr. Nazila as our dentist, and I was particularly proud of her when I heard that she was chosen as The woman of the year in medicine and health care for 2009 and also one of America’s top dentists for 2009.
I am positive all her patients are feeling the same way and I just want to tell her a “well deserved title Dr. N”
Well I saw these reviews for Dr.Nazila Edalati and wanna to share my opinion as well. Currently I am a 2nd year dental student at Los Angeles and I wasn’t Dr.Edalati’s patient, but I know Dr.Edalati through my summers time that I spend at her dental office to shadow her and she allow me to observe her dental procedure treatments from close distance (of curse after her patient’s approval). I can definitely say Dr.Edalti’s work has a high standard quality as I shadow other dentist as well. She is very patient and understand her patients need, and something interesting and unique about Dr.Nazila Edalti is that she always try to educate her patients so as she threat and take care of her patients’ pain and symptom she always find a way to connect to her patients and give them a really good to follow Oral Hygiene Instruction in person and she make sure her patients know the value and importance of their tooth and how the health of their oral/mouth can reflect to their overall body health. The assistants at her office, all were very friendly to me and anyone who walked in for help. From disinfection control aspect I can say the staph were very well trained and they change and sterilizes everything (even though if they didn’t touch it) for each patients. And about their infection control standard, I was amazed with their discipline for their patient’s health responsibility and their advanced autoclaves machine they were using in order to sterilizes their instruments at a really high standard quality. These were what I observe at Dr.Nazila Edalti ,and I saw many other dental offices I have to mention that she follow a high standard infection quality control which these days unfortunately not all the dentist follow that since it is cost effective for them!

We have been patients for several years and Thursday my husband had extensive dental work done and Dr E had a wonderful bedside manner with him, and was as gentle as she could be, made him feel very comfortable, and Heather has called him twice to check on him since the procedure. We have only compliments for the Doctor and staff.
I made an appointment and went to see them a few weeks ago and had a very pleasant experience there. Everyone seemed very caring and polite and was happy with the decision to choose them as my dentist.
I had a consultation with the doctor and found her to be knowledgeable and experienced in dentistry. I liked them so much that I recommended them to my mother.
Everyone has millions of bacteria living in their mouths that have one goal: find a hard surface to stick to and grow into a community. This happens rapidly and automatically, whether we know it or not, twenty-four hours a day, and three hundred and sixty-five days a year. It cannot be avoided because our bacteria are part of us and present whether we like it or not. 1
An easy Tooth Care tip is to get into the habit of drinking with a straw. Especially when drinking soda, juice and sugary drinks, the straw directs liquid away from your teeth.
